Lectureship in Electron Microscopy Imperial College London

Imperial College London Department Of Materials – The Department of Materials at Imperial College London is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Electron Microscopy. The appointee will undertake research in electron microscopy of functional materials with specific emphasis on Lorentz microscopy and/or electron holography. The appointee may also be asked to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses in the Department of Materials.

Applications should hold a first/upper second class honours degree (or equivalent) from a UK university or its equivalent in another country, in Materials Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related discipline as well as a free scholarship programs  (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related discipline and a number of publications in refereed journals.Fixed term appointment until 28 February 2013. Salary in the range £42,500 to £47,450 per annum
